St. Maarten Snook RED HOT!

The past week has been absolutely amazing here on St. Maarten. The number of large snook being caught is amazing. Four mornings fishing and I personally landed for fish over 15#, the largest being 22#.

My friends have all reported the same with the largest tipping the scales at 24#.

There is also the rumor that someone landed one that weighed, get this, 27 kilos. What the @#@$! That should be a world record. However I was told that he already cut it and put it in the freezer.

I found out where the guy lives so if he has anything left of the fish I should get able to get an idea of the size. I'll keep you posted.
