Hi guys, since ive been away ive had a ball. 6 bass last month, a few fish on the fly and a new pb on the casting court sunday just past 150g lead 190 yards dead, not bad for my 7th time . I took my wifes dig camera one day but on that day i blanked anyway when i came home there was a smell of rag on it so thats that, i do take photos but on my phone. Also rod builder has my primo synchro xl and i get it in around 2 weeks. Dont know about you guys roll on spring. Yours always in sport paul.

Thanks dave, if spring would show its face it would be flat out mate. Im going down to the club river 2morro morning and i hope one of my blackheads will catch me a springer or a nice size trout. I will beg and i mean beg my wife for a lend of her dig camara. Hope that otter or minx has swam to iceland as if not ive no chance, il be there anyway. trying hard. Worming is harder than some might think/ keep it moving.

River has dropped at least 3 feet since 1st visit on the 2nd march, i normaly leave it till end march/april. We could do with a spell of rain and get some movement in the water. It was flat calm and ground was still solid no movement in water and sun was beaming down, but nice to get out. Same place last year in april i had 93 brownies, (and the water was moveing nicely) in one week so i know its a tad early. The 2lb 12oz trout i had in same river i caught in june in a deep pool, nice gentle breeze and it was cool perfect. As i said nice to get out though. Early days spring has only begun.
