| aberthaw sat 30/8/ 08 after 7weeks of nofishing action there seems to be a decent forecast for sat, so gearing up for a trip down to aberthaw, dont know what it is fishing like at the moment but who cares. does anyone know if the smoothies are still showing or any reports of bass in that area.keeping everything crossed at the moment will post report sat night. plugger  peter __________________ if at first you dont succeed buy a boat. peter     |

| Re: aberthaw sat 30/8/ 08 well finally got out at 10am, into a calmish sea armed with squid mackeral crab and sandeel. decided couldnt wait top get down to aberthaw so we fished our mark between cardiff mid and the rhanny.not much to report but we did manage 6 conger to 13lbs 2 nice whiting and the obligatry doggies,not bad for first trip out in 7weeks though. got the 4.15pm lock in and had a quick chat with mike (lady helen) who seemed to have had a good day with anumber of blonde rays caught. another boat in the lock had 1/2 dozen nice bass to 61/2lbs so everyone seemed quite happy with their days fishing. nice to get out again in goergeous weather conditions. plugger peter __________________ if at first you dont succeed buy a boat. peter |
