Devon Born & Dorset Bred is on a distinguished road
Ringstead Bay 12/01/08

Sent my wife to Chesil Beach Angling Shop, to buy me bait, with the intension of fishing with a local mate of mine. Typically I left it to the last minute to arrange this with him, so it was'nt gonna happen.
After phoning as many people as I could (who owned rods), nobody was brave enough (or stupid) to attempt it!
So feeling alitttle down, I could only think of Ringstead as an easy place to fish with close parking.
Had set up before dark, and concentrated on catching me a Flatty of sorts.
The rain was due and the wind was busy trying to push by beach buddy down on top of me. Then a bite!!!

Oh well a Ponk (what my daughter calls a Pout) and the start of the Species Hunt 2008.
After 3 more Ponks, Portland had disappeared completely from view, which mean't appauling weather! That was the end of my fishing. For now!

Elliot

You didn't phone me! I was down Ringstead on Sunday taking pics for my fishing website, I must get down there with the rods in the summer as it screams bass. Give me a shout when you are next going fishing as I am really feeling the urge to go again after the winter break.

Jon
