a short ruffe session

well i decided i was going to go fishing this afternoon and with all intention i was meant to go all evening but i did not know what to go for and i have to say it was a hard decision to decide whether i wanted to go zedding and after last nights blank(no change there then ) the thought of going zedding again this evening was not an option .
but i did make a decision and that was to go breaking so with ground bait made and rods in the car i set off with all intention to fish until about 11pm .
i went to bramerton on the river yare which is a known holding spot for bream in the winter .

soon i was ready and the first job was to clip up and chuck a few feeder fulls of bait to draw the fish in with this done the rods were baited yup the far bank rod was going to be half a lob worm with caster and the other especially as it was early and still day time was a good bunch of bronze maggots this was because i might be able to pick up a ruffe and they are suckers for a big bunch of maggots .
and sure enough on my second cast i bagged one (1.5 points please )

now once this was done i went back to using caster and after a couple of more bite missed i managed a small bream nothing more happened as it got dark i decided i was not going to fish on any more and packed up and went home to relax and watch some tv
