| broadlands 11/02/07 we could not have had a better day at this time of year   we turned up about 8ish, got some live trout and got started . but sadly it was very slow and after 2 hours or so i was losing hope, then suddenly my live trout went nuts and bang fish on , then fish gone  . back out went the poor old trout and again it was getting terrised, but no fish , so bought my dead bait rod in closer to the action and almost instantly i got the bugger. a small pike after that our hopes were raised but to no avail. the was no more fish cought around us (and the was 9 other anglers around us  still nice day to be out side and might have another go later on for a double fig beast oh.... and some more point for the rusty nuts  p.s - does any one know any good pike fishing ponds around hear to have a bit more action, even if thay are small pike with the odd beast among them [;)] cheers john __________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...xt80382370.gif     |
