| Re: squabmoor mon 16th Dave, I hope you have better luck than I had on my last visit to Squabmoor. A tree fell on my car!! I was fishing a peg on the right hand bank facing the dam. It was a windy day and after an hour or so a chap came along and asked if I had a green car. On saying "Yes" he told me a tree had fallen on it. I learned that he was from Clinton Estates and thought he might not be messing about so packed up and returned to the car park. He was right an old fir tree has come down the length of the car, along the bonnet, smashed the windscreen and dented the roof. Spookily, the car was a three month old Subaru Forester!! I got it home and after they stopped laughing the Insurance Company took it away and fixed it. Hope it's not windy on Monday!! Rich |

  I walked round there the other day. The water has gone cloudy. Looks like some kind of algae. Not sure what this has done to the fishing. I hardly fish there but always struggle. Not caught a carp yet but others always seem to. Good luck. |
