| Re: tomorrow well went down today at 7:00 started with some lures, didn't get anything for 2 hours when i realised the tackle shop was open, so a short walk to get some deadbait, pollan were the cheapest so got some of them. just as my mate put his out, he started to reel in for my float to go near his, and a pike attacked it (looked massive very high double) but came off straight away!! didn't get much else so i had a tiny walk about 10ft when i saw a pike just lazing in the sun, it looked very dead so just incase dropped my deadbait infront of it, and sure enough it didn't move, so to make sure i poked it on the nose with my rod and started floating up, then swam away, few seconds later it was back, but still wouldn't take the deadbait annoyingly!! that was about all that happened for the rest of the day, blanked for the 5th time in a row! but none of the pike anglers were catching, so maybe it was too hot and they were all being lazy like the sod who didn't want to eat!!  |

| Re: tomorrow Bad luck I think the weather is not good for pike - hot weather puts off people and the same for fish Its to do with the oxygen levels on the water and the allgy levels ( sorry cannot spell allgy - green plankton) I find during the summer the only time to fish is early morning i.e 4am or late evening 7pm till dark for pike __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: tomorrow Unlucky mate! 5 times in a row  your be catching up with my 6 times blanking soon then! lol na im sure your have a good day next time and it was prety hot so i spose that didnt help as you said! listen to richard and get up at 3.30am and go fishing for 4am! sounds good to me specaily if they do bite then!!anyway good luch for next time ;D |
