All we caught...

Went out thursday to close by fishery, as we couldn't be asked to drive further a field.....and what a bad day we had......was 'almost' a blank day....the weather condition wasn't too good, we had a noth eastly wind blowing right it our faces and the fish just wouldn't bite.

Hours went by and nobody on the lake seem to have any luck, ppl left one by one....stuborn as I am wasn't gonna give up and around tea time a felt a little pull on one of my rods, which was set up on a leger. i didn't have much of a struggle to bring a 6oz roach in. (was it worth it??? Didn't even take a pic)

Mike, on the next peg down,had a rud a roach and possible a small chub, again there were only small around the 4-6 oz, again he didn't bother with pics.

To top it all up, we both caught a nasty cold, so been sitting home for the past 2 days feeling sorry for ourselves.....

Well there is next weekend to come, haven't decided yet where to go.....might fish the avon in salisbury.

Wouldn't mind to try shore fishing again.....must sweet talk Mike lol

unlucky on it being a not so good day twiddler good report though
now that what i like about fishing no two day ever fish the same good luck on your next trip

Yep gone through a heaps of tissue, what a waist....could have bought a few new tackles for that money

We've done that,couple of weeks ago with Greenheart, Pingu and BaggieRich at Sidmouth, really enjoyed it, even though I blanked. Would love to do it again, must remember to 'sweet talk' Mike into it again. I want to try chesil beach, read good reports about it.

Now a serious question, where can I get a good but not too expensive beach caster from....i got a telescopic one but after sidmouth I lost my faith in it very quick
