Snakehead catch

Went down to a pond near my house with a friend for the main purpose of catching snakeheads. The minute we reached, there were snakehead school all over the place. We rigged up with heavy topwater lures and just kept casting into the schools.

I spotted a school and asked my friend to cast there as my equipment couldn't reach them. He was popping away when I heard a loud BOOM!!!! I looked over at my friend and saw him pumping the fish. Drag was going out fast and there were snags all around. My friend tightened his drag and pumped the fish hard. In a few minutes, it was landed. HIS FIRST BIG SNAKEHEAD!! He was exhausted from the fight and was shivering all over.

An extremely heavy specimen weighing in at 8lb/ about 4kg.
