not so sticky

well, i will make this brief as i didn't get much sleep last night.
arrived at 16.00 to a nearly empty lake and 30 + degrees
got settled in quite quickly and quite comfy considering the temperature,
got my first bite at about 8 o'clock i think when my middle rod that was baited with a double halibut pellet was up and running, not much of a fight ensued and i was soon looking at my first ever catfish,
rather different colouring then i expected,a very light colured fish with dark speckles,it went about 4lb,

i was overjoyed, not often you catch a new species is it,
that was it until dark ,at about 11 my son chris's rod shot off and he landed a very nice 11lb mirror,no photo's ,i made a mess of things
i had another take at about 12 and another cat of 5 lb was soon in the net,
and that i'm afraid was the end of that,we stayed till 0730 without another bite
can't complain ,,
a very enjoyable night, oh,and 1.5 points please rich.
