Slow Day Yesterday.

Myself & the wife went fishing yesterday at Wildwood Lake. To say the least fishing was slow. Between the two of us we caught about a half a dozen small bullheads from 4" - 8" in length. Elaine also caught a small largemouth bass 10" long.

I'm on holidays for another week so hoping to try tomorrow at Goderich, at the mouth of the Maitland River & Lake Huron. Maybe a better report to follow.

Hoping the weather permits.

Shame the fishing wasn't a little better, but 10 bullheads and a largemouth bass is much better than a blank

It was the provincial fishing weekend. All residents could fish without buying a licence. I'm now safe for another year.
I'm off fishing in about 3 hrs.

I haven't caught a wisker-fish in a couple years. A buddy, at my old job, jinxed me. He asked for one to keep the algae down in a water feature in his yard...haven't got one since.
