last minute sesssion

well i decided to go fishing last night as i had a bit of a bad day .
and also did not really want to sit through the footballer it no longer as england no longer is so i,m not bothered.
so gear was sorted out and it also meant i could use up the rest of the ground bait and get fresh stock for further session .
i went back to irstead asit fished well and i like it there as its quiet andsome time when you go fishing you want to go some where just to chill .
as i arrived in the carp park i cold see that the was a couple of boats moored up on the staithe and as it will only take two in was full .
luckerly the baot ot the left had moored up tight to the dyke entrance which meant i could fish the other corner behind the sovereign 34 the couple on this boat were very polite and while i was setting up just chatted about what i could catch here and then they got out the wine and offered me to join them in a drink now how could i refuse .
there i am sitting there fishing with a nice glass of chardanay in my handwhat more could i ask for on a pleasant summer evening.
onnce the wine was allgone and it was getting dark they turned in leaving me to concentrate on my fishing which i did and just to bore you here is my rod tip shot
sorry i just can,t help taking pics of the rod tips i know its boring but its fills a space in the post .
soon the rod tipstarted to get twitches and knocks as the fish milled around the feeder and looking for my sweet corn hook so the tip went round and i struck and a nice plump bream was netted now exscuse my pics as at this point i realised i for got my tripod so i had to take the pic with the fish on the ground .

i was soon back out and in of another bream of similar size at first i thought i might be a silver bream but it was not it was a really still night even the bird life was quiet and it was a bit eary so to speak but the fish were having it again another breamcame over the net string suddenly i had a cracking pull round ands i struck into the fish the tip stayed round and the fish moved of to my left and i thought this no bream and i actually struggle to stop it and without warning i got a hook pull on closer inspection i had fouled hook the offender as i had a fairly big scale on the hook .
i was soon back out a another couple of bream hit the bank and then i cracking hybreds was caught i like thes as they fight reeally well sorry but the picture does not do it justice but this was close to 3lb

this was put in the net and i carried on another couple of fish came way and i made a decission to call it a night regardless the fish were getting that bit bigger so while the rod was out i packed all the gear away and empty out my net but wasactually suprise how well i done in this short session.

soon i had just the rod to pack away asi went to pick it up the tip swung round and i connected with a nice fish as it was on the suface i thought thats a big hybred i,ll try and get a shot of it in the water easier said than done i wish i was a better camera person as yet again the picture is ok but does not do this fish justice of its size (estimated about 4lb ) but i think i done really well as i was trying to control it with the other hand every time the flash went of the fish would go mad and shoot off and one pic to much as it surged away and the hook came out . well i thought i got a pic that will do .

i had a really relaxing evening and had a bit of a social with a pleasant
couple who i joined for a glass of wine and caught fish what more do you want from a relaxing session

tightlines
kevin
