off in the morning for a days match fishing,its a works thing,i don't know why i said i would do it ,but give it a go.
i havn't done anything like this since i was on the match circuit 20 years ago,its a carp water with a good head of tench and bream,its these i am going after.

just a quick report (i'm knackered )
well i dropped in a nice little swim and decided to fish the maggot feeder in front of the reeds in the margins,had bites right from the off with some very good roach and rudd,
but the wind spoilt it and as the day went on bite detection became more and more difficult,
i ended up weighing in a straight 21lb i think i was fifth or sixth,i enjoyed it but i'm showing my age now.
can't wait till i'm dozing behind my buzzers next week.

i can,t believe you want to just laze behind buzzers you will be giving carping a bad name
you go lay down and have a nap and don,t forget your pipe and slippers
