well as had to take daughter fishing and wether looking iffey was only going to be a short session
but was geared up for creedy lakes(which i will get too soon especially as open till 11pm) so looked like a pack mule
set up on the silver fish pond for a change setting daughter up with float rod

which she almost dutifully watched(apart from when fish were biting ) but she ended up with a small tench and a skimmer

then as i was re setting up float to fish deeper i managed to sneak in a crucian(after hours of trying last year i flook one today )

nothing on the feeder rod(me) but gave up after 1 1/2 hour as got very drizzly and daughter hungry!!

Ian, I believe they are included this year. Crucians, Grass and either mirror/common/leather etc.. (but only 1) count as this years carp I think.

You've been fully turned to the dark side now, haven't you mate? Feeder and float rods? How'd you put a 8oz lead out with one of them then?

no mate still love the beaches

unfortunately broke tip of fine feeder insert top to rod Yesterday (my fault as well)so looks like a trip down town, bet i come out with more than that though
