| Willow Lake (TVAC) A couple of hours this even at willow after a nice perch and some tench. Lovely evening bar a couple of loud mouths on the other bank, but they soon went and peace was restored. Ledgered worms and bread on one rod - alternating and float fished worms over pellats. First fish was a carp about 3 lbs caught under my feet, saw it cruise past then take some bread on the top, so put some more out followed by my bit with the hook in and it took it first time. I had a job to strike as the bread was way closer in the the end of the rod! Next up was a small tench to worm, about 1/2 lb. Shortly after that was a lovely perch about a pound on worm to the float again. Great fight. I'll catch one over 2lbs this year if it kills me! Then 3 more carp followed, 2 about 2lbs to floating crust and a nice 5 lber to round of the evening on ledgered bread. So very happy with my two hours.
