Pike/Zander meet - October

Fishypaul and I have been thinking of having a meet in October specifically for pike and zander. The main candidate for a venue is Bury Hill Fisheries which is famous for both species. A couple of us are interested so is anyone else? Could be a good 'un

Would love to, but doubt I'd be able too.

Looks a great place for you all to have a meet

Re: Pike/Zander meet - October

when you have a meet at a coarse venue like bury hill is it possible to book part of the lake .
you can book up parts of lakes for a match, why not for a meet ?

Re: Pike/Zander meet - October

I'd be interested if the fishing weekend I've got planned for October doesn't happen as I'm keen to get myself a few predators. Saw this fishery on John Wilson's programme a few days ago, looks superb especially if the pike and zander are the same quality as the carp chuckles was getting out of there.

Re: Pike/Zander meet - October

Looks like it may be a possibility at the end of October. A few pike and zander have been caught already and they're going to re-stock with more pike (as well as carp!!) this month. More details to follow soon
