| recent trip to the lakes of suffolk me and a couple of mates set off to suffolk water park for the day after a good few weeks out form fishing. we started on the match lake and i managed about 70 1lb carp in about 7hrs (biggest 1lb 8oz) my other mates each caught about 20 carp each in 5hours. then after 5hrs i stayed on the match lake whilst they moved to the traditional lake in search of the big'uns. within minutes one of them was in to an 11lb mirror which i was fortunate enough to see because i was then walking over to look at their peg. over the next 2hrs they caught many bream and an 8lb common as well. i then decided to take my gear over there for the last 45 mins. just as i got there they landed a tench that weighed in at 7lb 13oz!! i then caught two 4lb bream and then packed up. what a days fishing!!!!     |
