| Perch fishing tomorrow Going to a nice lake tomorrow after some perch. My mate has had them to 3lb 2oz on a spinner. So I'm fishing 1 rod on worm, the other spinning. Hopefully come back with a new pb perch (only 10oz at the mo )![]() __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º> |

| Re: Perch fishing tomorrow How fast have your retrieves been Rich? I was watching a clip the other day, and they were really slowling brining in a spinner, and the perch were kind of looking at it, then going for it. They seemed really lazy. Then a bit of a discussion I saw and they were saying they retrieve so slowly the blade only just spins ![]() __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º> |

| Re: Perch fishing tomorrow What I do is for jacks and perch is do a slow ret... say one reel turn per second but every three turns of the reel give the rod a twitch as this makes it look like a fish is in trouble Or ret.. five turns of the handle fast and then stop and count to three ( having the rod held up high - this will give the action of a fish trying to get upto the surface and then the blades will flutter when you stop reeling and the lure will then sink three / five foot so you are covering some depth I always do three ret.. per cast and do the old clock method i.e start at 9am along the bank and work around Good luck ![]() __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |
