| broke the sequence after a run of 3 or 4 blanks at my (normally prolific) but worryingly quiet lake i finally got a fish, i have had frequent 100lb catches of bream and tench out in the past ,but this season everyone is struggling, i only had the one run, but it produced a beautiful 5lb 1oz tench, couldn't get a picture,my son couldn't get the camera working, after i put the fish back i discovered i hadn't put the bloody batteries in it  ,what a dipstick !, i have fished 3 days in the last week and got soaked each time,i think our good old british summers are back again,     |
