| fished a private pond well got up at 5am on sat and set off to a private pond to fish for the day the weather when i got there did not look good i had an easterly wind and the clouds in the sky looked like they were going to chuck it down just my luck i win a days fishing and the weather is rubbish  .i set up two rods on ledger and cast them out one with a tutti fruitti boilie and the other one with sweetcorn i then set up my float rod put some maggotts on and cast out first cast i caught a nice 3lb tench next cast 2lb mirror carp then it rained and the bites stoppped so isat there for another 2hrs and no more bites so i moved up to the top pond the weather was no good for the grasscarp in there so i tried for the sturgeon and after about an hour of trying i caught one in the end i managed get 4 small mirror carp to 4lbs and 16 tench to 5lb and one sturgeon so in all a good day and after chatting with the owner of the lakes i can go back when i like so watch out grass carp im after you i do have a pic of sturgeon which i will send to ping  .phill    |
