dan the fishing man is on a distinguished road
7hr session

i went down to suffolk water park today for a 7 hour session on the traditional lake. when i got there i put one of my ready made rods out on method tactics. i changed the other rod from being set up for method fishing to surface because of the sheer number of carp showing. however, after about 2 hours of trying, the carp would not even take my freebie dog biscuits, let alone my hooked dog biscuit. so i changed this rod back to method and hair rigged a 'ringers bag up pellet' on this, and hair rigged sweetcorn on the other.

5 out of 7 hours had passed and nothing at all. the man in the peg next to me had just left so i decided to just go and see what his peg looked like and if i looked promising. then, just as i reached his peg, a faintly heard a screaming run on my sweetcorn rod. i managed to some how make it back and struck into a nice fish. it turned out to be a fully scaled mirror, and weighed in at 5lb 8oz.

then, just as i was rebaiting the method feeder on the sweetcorn rod to cast it back out, the other rod (pellet) screamed off as well! i struck into his and it turned out to be a 5lb common that fought like a common of double this size!

30mins now passed and i began to wonder if i would catch anything else, i then had a quick run on my pellet rod. i got to it very quickly and after a very very good fight for a bream, it bettered my previous PB bream by 1lb. it weighed just over 6lb.

it looked like it was all over now, because i started to pack up, and it had been dead on the fish side of things for about 1hr 30mins. but i did get another quick run and again it turned out to be a bream. only a small on ein the end though (3lb 4oz).

a very good session and i am very sorry about no pics agen guys.

PS. me-4 fish, other two mates with me-0. L O L
