| There is a small stream not far from my offices and last week I went over after work and dangled a rod and line for an hour or so. Pinkies were the bait and the intended quarry was playing very hard to get indeed. But after searching for a likely lie and a tremendous scrap on 8oz bottom and size 24 hook with single Pinkie beneath a float that can only be described as a "matchstick" the "Lunker" was duly landed and photographed for posterity. Not since my days as a young lad have I "Angled" for this species.......a nice way to go down memory lane! Pure bliss............................................. ....... Lunker 3 Spined Stickleback |
