Re: what a let down Something like that happened to a lake i used to fish. One day the owners of the lake netted the lake and removed all of the carp so the only fish left wher siler fish and tench. Needles to say tho after alot of protest of no one fishing there they soon changed!!! tj __________________ Big or Small ill catch them all!!!

Re: what a let down Maybe it was just a bad day. This year, I want out almost a half dozon times since opening day before I got a bite, then it was two more trips before i ended up reeling in anything. Now it's bites, lot's of them! Seems like it just started a little slow this year...for me anyway. I fish in public ponds in Connecticut USA- usually Batterson in Farmington and other ponds that I heard were actually fed by it. You should find out a diffinitive answer on whether they pulled the fish or not. Too bad iof they did.

Re: what a let down That sounds terrible mate. I'm sure that if you weren't catching, the fish weren't there, for whatever reason. Better luck next time Rob
