shillingford

well as i now have some gear, going too shillingford soon (hope monday)
not turning so much too the dark side as murky grey really
took a look this afternoon(missus said wanted too get out ) saw 6 carp being landed/played in time it tooktoo walk round complex(not long about 5 min)
anyone been there any advice so as can get a point or two more
this is the lakes site, has some good info but all input will/is welcome

Ping i fish there at least once a wk. The best lake to fish at the moment is kingfisher. The swim that i find is best is, when walking to kingfisher stay on the right hand side and walk to the top. You will come to a corner where there is a no fishing bit. If you fish here out to the corner of the no fishing bit there is a carp hot spot here. Keep feeding little and often with a hair rig in maggot, bread, or sweetcorn. I have found that they are not to interested in lunchon meat yet.

cheers tj, not sure i'll get there tommorrow as guess be flooded after todays rain
