Re: Float fishing

This is from:
http://www.bury-hill-fisheries.co.uk...ldburyhill.asp

"As one would expect, this mature fishery has over the years produced many fine catches and specimen fish which includes tench and bream to over 10lb, carp and pike to 30lb, roach and rudd to 3lb and perch to 4lb, crucian carp to 5lb and zander to 16lb.

All methods work well on the day, but traditionally Old Bury Hill Lake is a waggler and feeder water. The fishing is relatively easy and individual bags to over 200lb are not uncommon in the spring and summer months from both the bank and boat. The three-hour match record currently stands at 78 lb, the six-hour record at 137lb, and two anglers, John Houseman and Chris Tulley, shared a 500lb pleasure haul in May 2000 which included tench to 8 lb while boat fishing the 'jungle'."

And it's just 5 minutes drive from my house, even better!

Rob

Damn, weather too bad for today, so its all go for tomorrow at Bury Hill. Yeah Smoothy, its a real water, before it became a commercial fishery I used to walk my two Jack Russells up around there, beautiful place. Oh well, roll on tomorrow..
