| Wales - Wye not, still instead So i got to my destination on the sunday to see a friend who was doing some big work on the car for the day, he said the stretch of the wye that his back garden ends up at (literally could touch it) was having a match so a no go for me, so i had a nice suprise when he said i had a small still water to use all by myself instead. FOR FREE. Cant moan at that. I had left slough at 4am, arrived in Wales at 8am, weather was very windy, dodging lumps of bush and tree on the roads all the way. Only had 2hrs sleep in 24hrs but felt pretty good, left wales at 8pm, arrived home at 11pm. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I could see big fish, im sure carp, popping up to the surface, also other reasonable sized fish but i only caught 7 small fish, gudgeon, rudd, roach but had a lovely day. Sorry no pics of fish. cheers Andy __________________ Feel free to check out my photo's www.facebook.com/saladdodgerphotography Twitter: UKAndyWilliams |

| Re: Wales - Wye not, still instead Looks beautiful. I would also go home happy at this time of the year, with a few small silvers. Well done!! Amazing what people have got at the end of their gardens. I was talking to a someone I met recently about my interest in fishing and he said 'oh, we've got a pond with carp, pike & perch' ..... I'm planning ways to become his new best friend!!! __________________ Sion&Robyn Float & feeder - Lakes nr. | Re: Wales - Wye not, still instead I was actually pretty suprised when i pulled up at my mates/mechanics house for the first time to see the river right there, so close, flowing fast mind you but perfect for a fishing day out........ i didnt wanna leave. Funny though, he hardly ever uses it lol __________________ Feel free to check out my photo's www.facebook.com/saladdodgerphotography Twitter: UKAndyWilliams |
