The day started around 7:30 am and we got to a mist covered lake.

We were using 2 ledgers and a float rod each with worms, catmeat and boilies as bait.

We started to catch fantails on catmeat when I got a nice suprise with a big crucian of 2lb 2oz:

We carried on catching the odd fantail and rudd, when Chris' bite alarm screamed off and he landed this 6lb 7oz ghostie on pineapple plus boilies:

About 20 minutes later around 11:00 I caught this 3lb 2oz ghost on lobworm:

All went quiet again until around 2pm when Chris caught this lovely 6lb common on catmeat fishing about 1 foot out (a great fight on light line):

A suprise catch for me when I caught my 1st ever goldfish, poossibly crossed with a koi (look at the tail):

The last carp of the day was a small mirror for me on Strawberry and Ice cream boilies

We decided for the last 30 minutes to go to the novice lake, we ended up catching some nice rudd on sweetcorn, good fun to finish the day.
