Blank Blank and more Blanks

Well after finally moving house and getting back on the bank and forum, found out that Boilieboy (Mark) lived for the last 10 years in the same road as me So decided to get together and see what we could pull out of the canal. We met up on the canal at the new bridge (Zander forum meet spot) Mark is NOT very good with directions so he and his wife (Mandy)parked about 2miles away so after taking the mick out of him we started fishing. Well we fished till we couldn't put up with the boredom of not catching anymore so called it a day about 3ish I had to get home for school run Did get to see bridge open so that was exciting


We decided to meet up at Monks meadow to try in the marina. Mark was going to get there early so he would text me directings to where he parked his car in the houseing estate a little walk away well should have learnt from last week 1 1/2 miles later I arrived to find Mark and Mandy fishing on the corner of the marina at the time the weather looked perfect but the water was very coloured (we found out later they let more water into docks to wash some silt out??). We had a bit of interest on the rods but caught nothing We had a visit from Rich with plenty of banter when we found out we could park 100yds awayMARK Rich had a dabble but still nothing so we packed up and are planning a trip for this Tuesday??

I have to say it doesn't look like the most picturesque spot in the world either!

After reading that report, I don't think I'll be rushing down there.
