 Todber 5/11/11 Had a pleasant few hours fishing Park lake at Todber Manor along with Bananna Steve & Simon N yesterday. For once it was'nt blowing a gale there & the sun was even quite warm for november. Steve & Simon were concentrating on pole fishing while I opted to fish the method. All of us caught a variety of fish including Carp, Brown goldfish, roach, rudd & Steve & I even had a small golden tench each. Quite unusual for the time of year. Steve I Simon were using maggot as bait & I was fishing sweetcorn over pellet, which I think sorted out the better fish. I did'nt take any pics, but hopefully Steve will follow up with a few.  As usual we rounded off the day with a pint in the Kings Arms at East Stour. Perfect......  __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...     |

| Re: Todber 5/11/11 As Ian Said We All Had A Good Days Fishing. I Managed Some Decent Sized Carp And Some Cracking Roach. Steve Didnt Managed To Get Off To A Great Start. He Set Up His Feeder And First Cast Snapped Up. Second Cast Got Tangles On a Snag And Retreaved A Load Of Line And Two Float. I Did However Manage To Catch My First Crucian. Fished Park Lake Many Times Now And Never Managed One. Took Me Long Enough But Heres My First Ever Crucian.  Fishing Was Better Than Expected For The Time Of Year. Last Year At This Time It Was Much Slower And The Carp Didnt Want To Know On Park, We Were Only Catching Roach. There Was A Match On The Other Side Of The Lake While We Were There And They Seemed To Be Catching Reguarly. |
