trespasser is on a distinguished road
Pines creek, 10:30 to 12:00

Caught two nice smallies, nice change after having to snag carp for weeks.

Water is a little low, and with the snow already out, that doesn't bode well
for July/August. Hope we get some rains. Floods changed the streams
over the winter, now I gotta relearn them.

Oh yeah, fish caught on inline spinners, silver blade, black and white dressed.

Hi Trespasser

Good to see you read the forum here, welcome.

Would you like to describe the art? of snagging carp as it is not a common fishing term in the UK.

Hi Fluff, I THINK Trespasser means he's been hooking carp but getting snagged up while playing them, unless it is a different american term I'm not too sure

Dear Fluff Chucker,

Snagging carp over here means tieing on a large, undressed treble, and casting it into a large group of carp, then giving a good yank. It is
legal to snag many fish, below dams and for a certain number of yards after the dam. I dont snag gar, or pike, because I like smoked carp. Plus, a snagged carp fights like mad. You can see the carp most of the places I fish.

Hope that clears it up. Good to talk to some guys from across the pond.

Always envied the Royal Navy chaps, looked like good duty, and they were
wild in the taverns overseas! Good luck on all your fishing! Levi
