Gabriel’s Fishery - my lads first ever carp

I had an enjoyable day's fishing at the Gabriel’s Fishery (near Edenbridge, Kent) today.

Over the day, managed a haul of 20+ fish (small carp, bream ... and a couple of gudgeon!!). Float fished with 3 maggots on size 14 hook.
So much for a relaxing days fishing. I barely got to sit down, too busy either setting up, helping to land or catching.






My 7-year old lad landed his first ever carp (before I caught mine ) and was well pleased with himself.
Can anyone help to settle an argument of whether my lad’s mirror carp or mine is the 'biggest' ??
Would also like to know approx weight.




Next fishing trip – River Ouse, Barcombe Mills on Saturday.
