| My First report: Some fish on the feeder... Hello Dear Friends, Nice to meet you. This is my first post and report here. Just a few things to me: I'm from Bulgaria, live in Varna. I'm in a friendly group of anglers and use to fish in the weekends somewhere. The coarse fishing in Bulgaria is a little different than this in UK. More of the lakes are much deeper, there's not so many fish and the fishing is difficult. But all the way - this is good. Makes anglers better and better. Of course for me one of the best matchanglers in the world are the UK International team. So, for my yesterday fishing... I visited lake near Varna. Last month i had there 3-4 fishing days. There's many carassio, carpes and thousand of roaches. I've fished there with a pole and match rod. Last week became much colder and the temperature from 30 celsius degree now are 5-7 celsius. So yesterday i decided to use my feeder. I use 12ft Daiwa feeder and Daiwa 3000 Caldia reel. Started with my bite - it was a bag of VDE Catch. I added a few ![]() The result: ![]() For the col weather i had and casters :) ![]() This was my rig: ![]() Main line 0,18mm and hook line 0,135mm. To be honest i used it for the first time and... i had a few problems with complications. Usually use another rig, which is simple again but will show you in some next ime. :) Espexted wind so had few more of this: ![]() In near half an hour i hadent any fish... so i made experiment... ![]() and this :) ![]() The hook i used was Kamassan B611 size 14. ![]() aaaaaaaaaaannnd finally i catched a small roach - arround 20 grams. ![]() This is the lake: ![]() ![]() I made a second spot near the bank. Arround 15 meters from me. The feeder spot was arround 30 meters inside. Waited one more hours and had just 2-3 micro roaches. I caught them on the nearer spot. The were there, but it wasn't my aim. I came back to the feeder spot and waited. One hour more i hadn't fish, so i told to me "last cast" aaaaand ![]() This was the only one bigger fish for the day. Cold weather were made the water cold and the fish didn't want to eat. I decided to go back at home. Released all the fish. In the summer the fishing were very different. On the pole ![]() and one small carp ![]() ![]() This was the main bait: ![]() Sweetcorn and CC Moore mix. The second was very good for this plake. Carpes and karassio liked them. Some of my final results there: ![]() ![]() Aaaaand many others. Sorry for the english mistakes. Hope to like this far away report. All the fish from the pictures are released. I like catch & release. Say this because many anglers here prefer to take the fish for home... Best regards, Krasimir |

| Re: My First report: Some fish on the feeder... Thanks mates, Quote:
![]() ![]() I like this fish. In the Bulgarian lakes the most catched fish is maybe the roach. Many competitions are win with roaches, and they are thousands. But some speciment lakes there's this fish "carassio" - it the name in Italian i think. Theese fish are usually bigger and make weight easyer :). I will show you more pictures. This is a good groundbait for carassio and i use is sometimes. ![]() This is the fish: ![]() It like much chopped worms. ![]() ![]() Aaaaand another. ![]() With this catch of 4,00kg weight i took a competition win this summer. And was very happy, because the competition was 4 hours long. Until the second hour i hadn't a fish and were the last one. After that i found on the match spot theese fish and the things changed. ![]() Another lake ![]() And i catched english style. Deep was under 1 meter - arround 4 foots. match spot with waggelr 3+0,8grams (2SSG) with CC Moore pellets. ![]() The pellets are CC Moore from compressed corn mussle. ![]() I like them and the work for this lake... And many many other. From the pictures it seems to there alot of fishes, but it isn't so. In the winter fishing go mainly in the rivers. The fishing is very different of course from the lakes, but it's fishing. The main fish is chub and a few others. Maybe show you in some next reports. |
