This is spot on, the Free Stretch in Newbury @ Northcroft Leisure Centre, this is where the Barbel are taken, nearly always at the trailing edge, if you can get through the Crayfish!!

I always look for bends, overhangs, undercuts and anywhere where two bodies of water become one.
