pond in avonmouth - (A STATE)

Hi all, i was told about a pond in avonmouth that a lot of people use for carp fishing, i went down there for a few hours to see wot it was like and i found it disgusting with the amount of litter eg cans bottles bags sweet corn tins etc etc. all do i did catch a few fish there, it was obvious to me that people just don't care about where they fish and wot the leave apart from the few good fisher men who tidy up after them self.

and they wonder why clubs day ticket water is expensive ,,these arnt fishermen just idiots ,,its like the breakwater at anglesea a tip makes us all look like divs to the general public

Place near me, was stocked full of hard fighting carp and nothing else even some lovely grass carp in there - Farmer died last year before it even got going and nobody has taken it over so now it's just a free for all. You would have thought that the people who fish there would be over the moon to have a great little carp water, completely free of charge with quality fish and even a gated carpark but no - they just abuse it, leave their shit laid about everywhere, snap all the samplings, set camp fires and act like idiots - now theres even reports of other local clubs taking fish to put in their own waters (These people should definately know better). Shame - If I had the money I would buy it and barr all the idiot scum out!!

It just screws it up for the rest of us who like to fish and keep the area tide and not just leave rubbish and everything else behind
