| New PB :) Recently got back into my fishing after what must be a ten year hiatus. Some one on here recommended a few lakes up near Bridgnorth on the Birmingham ticket and I've been giving them a go. The fishing has been a little hit and miss for me but I am enjoying my fishing again and have been more or less every weekend for two months now, mrs in tow  Anyway late this evening the carp moved into my swim in a big way so much I stayed a hour later than planned. Dispite slack lines and leadcore line bites and bubbles meant I couldn't leave. Then my 20 year old Aero Baitrunner 4000's spool went into overdrive with this on the end:  25lb 1oz near leather  Beats my old pb by about half a pound of when I was 16 or 17  Just want to thank everyone on here, its a small little group of people but it's great group to have stumbled across      |

| Re: New PB :) :) Thanks all. The fish came in like a wet towel, thus it was a complete pain on the bank! The mat was vital and I will be looking to get something a better soon, that one must be 13-14 years old! |
