| Re: first from a canal nice one alot of carp in most canals rather have one these than 100 from a carp puddle what were your bait,rigs etc __________________ hates 'carp puddles' targets for 2011 10lb+worcs stour barbel,specimen tench and chub. |

| Re: first from a canal 10mm bloodworm boilie size 10 korda kurv shank n 10lb merlin braided hooklength,I spotted a couple of ghosties in the canal about a mnth ago n have been down to the place every couple of nights for a few hours tryin to snag hold of one,I've had no end of tench to 5lb n bream to 6lb but this is by far the most staisfying fish of 24yrs of fishing knowin how rare the carp are in that specific part of the witham n trents runoffs. |
