| Hello All New Season and a nube on this forum. Ive fished the River Severn, at Apply just north of Bridgenorth, on three separate sessions, and caught one smallish barbel (2.5 lb), two chub (2 lb, 4 lb), and plenty of silver. Cant get on water till 8 am, so the larger fish have been taken early in the session, then very quiet all rest of day. Still having the most wonderful time, the Severn is magnificent, but i obviously still have a lot learn. The big chub was absolutely livid at being caught, maybe they are still spawning. If any body has any knowledge of this, any advice would be most welcome. Cheers |
