| ANy tips found a lake, apparently very old and established. its a community lake at the back of an estate and. i am crap at sizes but it took me about 5 minutes to walk around it. it is very clear and deep, apparently average 15-16ft and 22ft at its deepest, it drops off quickly. i have seen some pics of fish caught and they are of good size, carp in the mid to high 20s and very dark in colour. tench and bream up to 8lb etc. no locals to ask about bait but it looks very interesting, gonna night fish it tomoz with a friiend. was thinking of trying cell boilies on one and mussles on the other.. any suggestions or advice welcome  __________________ I snagged.., 5lb tench, 25.3lb common, 16.4lb mirror , 2.2lb roach, 4 lb chub and 10lb Ghost.     |

| Re: ANy tips not at all well, me and mate blanked. very active with small fry and skimmers on surface but no sightings of bigger fish. heard a couple crashing during the night. 3 or fine single blips on alarms but no bites.. both got bitten to buggery by mozzies  interesting deep dark lake but no fish caught. __________________ I snagged.., 5lb tench, 25.3lb common, 16.4lb mirror , 2.2lb roach, 4 lb chub and 10lb Ghost. |

| Re: ANy tips sounds my sort of lake,i love mysterious water like that,you never know what might be lurking in the depths, might be useful to get down there and prebait it before your next visit |
