| Slow Going On The Local Due to other commitments, I have not been able get out on lakes recently, managed a short and highly unproductive session on the local last Monday evening. I had heard reports that it had not been fishing well and as soon as I got there I knew why, the Carp were spawning!! So out came the Feeder Rod to have a shot at the Bream which run to over 12lb. It took a while to get the swim going, but I had 3 Bream over 3lb and lost a slab after letting to line go too slack!!!  .After loosing the slab, the swim went quiet, so I popped out my 8m Whip to have a quick go for a Perch or two for the species hunt, I was aiming for a slightly larger stamp of Perch than what I caught, especially as I was using a size 10 hook with 2 dirty great Lobs, still I added another 1.5 points for the Amigos with this tiny fella!!      |

| Re: Slow Going On The Local Cheers chaps, it'll be a bit slow on the species hunt for a while Jason until I hit the rivers. Mike, I'm used to it, rolled big Tench, Bream and Carp here, I put it down to being a little rusty from my Winter slumber. |
