I Havent Posted Or Done Any Reports For A While Now Due To Certain Members Causing Some Trouble For Myself And A Few Others But Decided To Let You All In On Our Last 5 Trips.

Might Wanna Get Comfortable.

Trip One:
Banana Steve Rang And Asked If Myself And Cindy Would Like To Fish Hunters Moon On April 9th. Steve Said He Had Fished The Top Lake Some Years Ago And It Used To Have a Good Head Of Tench. We Decided To Do An Afternoon/Evening Session So We Arranged To Meet At 1pm. All Met In The Car Park And Purchased Our Tickets, £5 Each. They Allowed Us To Drive Round To The Lake As No One Else Was Fishing It. That Always Makes Me Nervous When No One Else If Fishing A Lake It Unsettles Me, Makes Me Think Why Arent People Fishing It Anymore. Well Disappoint Straight Away. It Was Obvious That The Lake Wasnt Looked After, The Stages Didnt Look Great And The Surface Was Covered In Scum. On The Plus Side We Could See Carp All Over The Surface Crusing Around. We All Decided To Fish The Pole With Maggot. Well The Fishing Was Slow And Not Much To Report. Plenty Of Fishing Moving About But Not Feeding. I Managed 3 Carp Not Of Very Big Size.




I Did Get Bored And Managed To Work Out How To Take This Picture Tho.


The Day Ended Even Worse Tho When I Decided To Start Packing Up. I Went To get Off My Seat Box And The Pallet Broke And I Fell Through And Lent On My Pole And Broke The Number 4 Section And My Camera Fell In The Lake. I Managed To Get The Camera Back And Dryied It In The Cupboard It Works Fine Now. My Replacment Section Will Cost Me £34 When Preston Hurry Up And Get It Back In Stock. Please Hurry Up And Get It In Stock I Wanna Get Out And Fish. PPLLEEAASSEE.

Trip Two:
This Trip Saw Me And Steve Head To Wadmill Lake At Todber Manor Over Easter For A 48hr Trip. Neither Of Us Get a Chance To Do Alot Of Carp Fishing And We Had Promised Ourselves This Season To Do Some More. We Arrived At The Shop At 3pm And Steve Got His First Chance To Look Around There New Shop, Which You Must Visit If You Get A Chance. We Decided On 2 Swims On The Near Side Of The Lake Half Way Up The Lake. I Had A Swim With The End Of A Island And Open Water And Steve Had Just Open Water. We Spodded Out A CCMOORE Fish Frenzy Spod Mix Kindly Donated My Bushie Mixed With Some Tiger Nuts And CCMOORE Monster Squid Pellets. It Turned Out A Cemical Blue Color Which When We Spodded Out Turned The Water A Neon Blue Color. No Need For A Marker To See Where The Spod Mix Was. Fishing During The Day Was Slow Neither Of Us Caught. We Only Seemed To Get Runs In The Evening/Night And Early Morning. As Soon As The Sun Came Out The Fishing Stopped. Over The 48hr Steve Had 11 Fish Totalling 76lb 4oz.







I Managed 16 Fish Totalling 115lb 12oz








The Bream Is Also My New PB At 5lb 8oz.

Trip Three:
This Was A Quick Trip To Catch A Carp To Show My 7 Year Old Daughter What a Carp Looks Like. Me And Cindy Are Trying To Get Her Into Fishing. We Took A Loaf Of Bread And Managed 6 Carp In Just Over An Hour Off The Top.

We Had To Pack Up As We Ran Out Of Bread.

Trip Four:
This Trip Saw Alisha Fishing For Only The Second Time. We Brought Her A 4m Whip From Veals In Bristol And Got Her A Pint Of Maggots And Took Her To Crockerton. She Had A Mixed Bag Of Roach, Rudd, Perch, Skimmers And A Nice Tench.



Trip Five:
This Trip Saw Me And Cindy Visit Wadmill At Todber For A 24hr As Cindy Couldnt Come Back In Easter. We Fished The Same Swims As Me And Steve Did Back In Easter. I Decided To Fish Mainline Cell This Time Round. This Time The Weather Was Diffrent It Was Raining When We Got There But I Didnt Mind. The Trip For Me Went Great I Managed 15 Fish Totalling 85lb 8oz Which I Didnt Think Was Bad As Last Time I Had 115lb 12oz In 48hr And We Only Did 24hr This Time. Some How And Dont Ask Me How Cindy Blanked, She Had Fish Crashing And Moving In Her Swim But No Runs.

Well I Hope I Havent Bored You Too Much. I Promise Not To Leave It So Long Next Time And Do So Many Reports At Once. Hoping To Get Back To Wadmill Soon For Another 24hr.
