Sturgeon

Hi folks me and me dad have found a private pool that we have been invited to fish for sturgeon having no idea because never caught one wat is the best bait and do they preffer any type of weather condition thanks

I have hooked one in the winter on Halibut Pellet, but apart from that I can't give you any further information.

I would love to actually land one.

When i was fishing for sturgeon in Canada we used dead bait cut into smallish chunks or fish eggs wrapped in stockings,i have never caught a sturgeon over here but i imagine dead baits cut into small chunks would be fine

Normal carp baits work fine a bed of pellet and boilie with a either a pellet of boilie hook bait.
