Corn Hill again...Blanked!!!

Just goes to show you how unpredictable fishing is at this time of year. Went to Corn Hill again having had so much success there over the past week or so. It was definately colder than the last two sessions, the temp gauge reading 3 degrees but it was overcast with a slight breeze and conditions looked good despite the chill. Went for the usual tactics as previously reported here but nothing. Two bites all morning.

Spoke to the owner afterwards and she advised me that it does not fish well if its too cold. I remembered the temp gauge read around 7.5 degrees the last two times so will definately keep a check on the temp next time I plan to come here.

Still. A nice peacefull morning in beautifull surroundings. Thats what its all about.

Unlucky - but as you say its nice just to get out down to the water, and if you aint there with a bait in the water then you aint gonna catch anything. Better luck next time
