| At The Beginning Of The Week Myself, Cindy, Ryan (Ryan Messen On The Forum) And Geoff (Bushie On The Forum) Decided To Have A Bit Of A Social And Do A 24hr On One Of Our Club Lakes. Myself And Geoff Had Put In A Bit Of Bait In During The Week In Preparation For Friday. Ive Been Using A New Bait To Get Away From The Normal Mainline Cell And Richworth Pineapple That Gets Put In, Ive Been Trickling Bait In Now For 6 Months And This Would Be The First Time Ive Actually Fished With It. Myself And Cindy Arrived At The Lake 1pm On Friday, We Had A Walk Around The Lake For Half An Hour To See Who Was About And To Watch The Water To See If We Could See Any Signs Of Movement. There Was Only One Person Fishing In Peg 5 Using The Feeder. We Noticed Fish Moving On The Far Bank So We Decided To Fish Peg 13, One In Which I Had Prebaited Earlier In The Week. Peg 13 Isnt Known For Its Winter Fishing As Its A Shallow Peg In The Shallow End Of The Lake. We Fished 3 Rods Between The Two Of Us. Left Hand Rod Fished On The Gravel Bar With A 10mm Bottom Bait From Premier Baits With A New Peice Of ESP Boyant Corn To Top It Off. Also Attached A Small PVA Stick With Cruched Up Bollie. Middle Rod On The Same Gravel Bar Fished With The Same 10mm Bottom Bait But Capped Of With The New Avid Carp Sight Stops In Yellow. I Fished This With A Solid PVA Bag Using The New Avid Carp Loader System. I Used Crushed Pellet Which Comes In The Same Smell As The Bollies. The Third Rod Was Fished To The Island Using The Same Method As The Middle Rod. Within 10mins Of The Third Rod Being Put Out I Had A Run, An Immaculate 3lb 8oz Common. ![]() 4pm Ryan Arrived, He Walked Round For A chat And Decided To Set Up In Peg 14. 4.10pm My Middle Rod Kept Bleeping And The Bug Was Moving Up And Down. I Sat Next To The Rod And The Next Time The Bug Moved I Struck. Sure Enough A Fish, A Bream Of 2lb 12oz. ![]() Then At 5.20pm 3lb 6oz Common Of The Left Hand Rod. ![]() Geoff Arrived Just After 6pm, He Walked Around And Had A Chat, Steve (Banana Steve) Turned Up A Couple Minuites Later To See How We Were Getting On. Geoff Decided Not To Fish The Night And Just Set Up And Sort His Rigs And Start Fishing At First Light. The Left Hand Rod Went Off At 6.45pm, A Beautiful Scale Pattened Mirror Carp, Weighting 5lb 5oz. ![]() 9.40pm Ryan Had His First Run A 4lb 12oz Mirror, He Was Using 10mm XLR8 Richworth Tipped With A Small Bit Of Boyant Corn. ![]() 12.40pm Ryan Had Another Screaming Run Out Of No Were, Landing A 8lb 8oz Mirror. Some How Ryan Managed To Fall In The Lake And End Up Knee Deep In The Lake. Geoff Awoke And Casted Out At 7am Using CCMOORE Live System On One Rod And CCMOORE Meateor On The Other Rod. At 8.15am Geoff's Meateor Rod Went Off And He Landed A Common Carp Of Around 4lb. Geoff Put Out No Free Offerings. ![]() No Picture Of Geoff, I Think Hes Camera Shy ![]() The Sun Started To Come Up And The Morning Warmed Up. I Cooked Bacon Butties And Steve Managed To Turn Up Just In Time For One. Unfortunatly No More Fish During The Day. There Were Fishing Moving About And Fizzing And A Bleeps And Small Runs. Both Me And Geoff Swapped One Rod To A Zig Just To See If They Would Pick It Up But No Luck, We Used CCMOORE NS1 In White And Pink. Hopefully The Weather Stays Mild And Be Out Again Soon. Im Just Glad They Like The New Bollies And I Havent Been Wasting My Time With Them. Simon N |

| Re: WDAC Crockerton Lake. Well done Simon. Great nights fishing and another great report as usual but can I beg a favour. I know it sounds picky but I find it quite difficult to read your reports when you capitalise every word. Any chance of leaving the capitals for sentences? ![]() |
