| pre-spawn action got some time after class the other day to hit up one of the local freshwater lagoons for a little LMB pre-spawn action. Started out split-shotting a 6" purple roboworm for a few small ones and a couple swings and misses right after the sun went down tied on a chrome/blue rattle trap. first cast land this 3+ pounder About an hour later after nothing on the trap decided to slow it down a bit and tied on a 6" baby bass cinko. fished about 20 min. for nothing until this nice 4+ pounder chewed the cinko overall not a bad night, showed lots of promise for the spawn, now if only this weather would clear up so i can get back out there ![]() |
