Went fishing today

Went fishing for a few hours this afternoon and caught my first fresh water fish a 10lb carp, unfortunately nothing else at a club lake.
Caught on sweetcorn in golden syrup.

Weather was overcast and a bit windy, but not too cold.

Well done, not bad for your first freshwater fish. A nice fish on a cold day.

It took me centuries and thousands of pounds to catch a fish like that, and you go and do it on your first fresh water fish.

Some people are just born lucky!!

i had a cracking 8lb river common last week. I am yet to catch a double figure fish so really well done.
