| Omahayank FINALLY gets out for a day fishing! I can't explain it nor believe it. But I finally got out for my 1st and only time this year. I met my good friends Gavin and his wife Cheryl at Halleck park pond for a little bit of ol' Pescadora. The town of Papillion recently nearly doubled the size of the pond and there are 3 new fountain nozzles installed in the water. They seem to really reduce the water temp so the stocked trout thrive all year long. So, when you if you cat directly at the base of (apparently any of) the fountains you'll likley catch a trout. I caught one nice one. Cheryl got 5 or so, and Gavin got 8 trout and right after dark got 2 channel catfish.
