| Bax Farm Fishery today I decided to take advantage of the 18c winter sunshine and head for the lakes today. I was set up by 10am and at 10.20 my rod bounced off the rest, bent sideways and i was onto something nice. 5 minutes later and lots of clutch action, i managed to land this handsom energetic mirror.  The day went quiet after that despite my lovely smelling strawberry soaked boilies.. i did however mamnage a nice 8lb common about 3pm just as i was thinking about packing up. still not landed my first double figure fish, but my knots arn't slipping anymore and my skills are clearly improving. __________________ I snagged.., 5lb tench, 25.3lb common, 16.4lb mirror , 2.2lb roach, 4 lb chub and 10lb Ghost.     |
