Milford Shingle - where's the top spots ?

Looking at venturing back to Milford but it's been ages since i last fished there..
Anyone know the best marks / parking places down there ?

My son had a 10:08 bass just past the surf a few years ago that was up at the whitehouse area but has since abandoned the whole stretch due to the weed. good luck .Dave

parking- alongside the road at the white cut bridge is free unless your blocking the road .
milford sea front the carparks are £4.5, for 6 hours or £5.5 allday.
single yeller lines along the front are free between 19.00 & 08.00.

suggested marks - the whitehouse- was good for me on thursday

the old cafe ( not the needles eye, far east of sea front)


from the cut bridge- right of stone groyne (the short walk)
left of stone groyne(sheltered a little from the flood tide)
where the bank doglegs
west of castle
east of castle(the hole}

in general the nearer the castle you are the stronger the tide flow ,
the comming spring tides + high winds later this week will increase the weed problems,

i once wrote a very detailed post about these venues but it has now vanished from the original site & i can't find it.
