Catch report Luckfield Lake

Fished an evening at Luckfield Lake, Broadmayne, Nr. Dorchester.
With my brother who has'nt fished properly for 5 years now. The lake is about 3/4 of an acre with 10 swims around it. No one else was fishing, so we could enjoy the lake to ourselves.

The Dorchester District Angling Society now run the lake and membership is extremely cheap for the amount of fishing available. http://www.d-das.com/page_front.asp

I fished the bottom with a popped up Mainline Maple 8, and caught a 10lb common carp.

My brother had a run on his ledgered luncheon meat, which resulted in this cracking 5lb 3oz Eel.

The beast was tamed by gently stroking down its lateral lines, for the photo.
(Excuse the bellie and pants shot.)
